Dr. Di Wu published a paper titled Modeling the spatiotemporal dynamics of Mormon crickets across the western United States using Bayesian species distribution models in the journal of Ecological Informatics. In this paper, we developed a time series of high resolution mapping of Mormon crickets for the western United States. See here for the paper and related codes.
