The goal of this project was to develop GeoAI methods to forecast Mormon cricket populations and potential outbreaks. This project aims to achieve two objectives: 1) develop a GeoAI based, uncertainty aware method for spatiotemporal distribution and outbreak forecasting of Mormon crickets; and 2) understand the effects of environmental, climate conditions and pest management practices on the spatiotemporal distribution of Mormon crickets.
